Can email passwords be detected from my using another computer? I think my BF is reading my email?

After I checked my email, the next day I saw 4 emails had been opened because they were light. I sent myself a test, email, and it said, "if you opened this youre reading my mail! No fair!" He is very computer smart, so it could be he figured it out. How? He didnt read any others after that one, and Ihave since changed PW. How is this possible?

Call him on it. It sounds like neither of you trust each other, so if you get down to the root of the problem, hopefully you can overcome it. Have you done anything for him to feel betrayed? It sounds like he's reading them. Just call him on it and have a conversation about it.
Reply:See if you can log onto the computer as another user. In XP it's easy. Then you can clean out all your password and stuff when you are done. Just make sure it doesn't save passwords or use autocomplete.

If that fails, it doesn't matter what you do or how much we explain how he's doing it, he'll find another way.
Reply:One way is to have key logger software on your computer that will tell him every keystroke of the keyboard you make, therefore, getting your passwords among other things.
Reply:If he has access to your computer, there are many, many ways that he could steal your password.

Relationships are based on trust. If you don't trust him enough to talk to him about it, you don't have a very good relationship.
Reply:It is possible that his computer is set to save usernames and passwords to make it easier to log in to his own accounts.
Reply:Girl, the only way he can be checking it is if he had a password saver...hon, dont even change it dump him if he doesn't trust you!!
