you can't have separate passwords for the same account even though one goes to email and one is on messenger. The solution I would suggest to have your kids able to use messenger without having access to your email would be to have your password auto-saved in your messenger so it auto-logs in and they don't need to know your password. Although I don't use messenger really so I'm not sure if they can access your email THROUGH your messenger. If that's the case a separate password wouldn't mater anyway

To fix it, I would back up your data you want to keep , format your hard drive, re install windows and your drivers and get clam av ( www.clamwin.com and then scan all your backed up data for any viruses before you copy it back onto your machine and be careful of what you accept or install on your machine :)

If you are uncomfortable with it then ask yourself why. If your spouse is questioning you and showing signs of jealousy or controlling behavior then that raises red flags with me. No one should just demand and say 'give me your password' it should just be something natural that is exchanged like any other information shared between spouses.

Reply:Trust your instincts. You may be right. You do need to have an honest talk with him about why his work hours have changed. Perhaps he is going in earlier because he needs to make a good impression on his boss. In this economy, with jobs being cut daily, the employee who works extra hard will be noticed and perhaps keep his job. Ask him flat out in a gentle way and then tell him of your concerns. You will know from his reaction and answers if he is sincere or hiding something.
Also, it is not wrong to snoop around to insure that your spouse isn't a cheater. You have children to take care of and need to protect them. If someone is acting in a suspicious way, then they have no right to privacy. This is your marriage and home. Do what you need to do to protect it from predatory women.

Perhaps he is going in earlier because he needs to make a good impression on his boss. In this economy, with jobs being cut daily, the employee who works extra hard will be noticed and perhaps keep his job. Ask him flat out in a gentle way and then tell him of your concerns. You will know from his reaction and answers if he is sincere or hiding something.
Also, it is not wrong to snoop around to insure that your spouse isn't a cheater. You have children to take care of and need to protect them. If someone is acting in a suspicious way, then they have no right to privacy. This is your marriage and home. Do what you need to do to protect it from predatory women.

Can I insure my email password , in case I forget ? Is any company offering such policy ?

If you are absent minded can I suggest you change to one that does..... would be cheaper and easier surely.

Second even if the password was irretrievable and unresettable making it impossible to access the account, what financial loss would you have suffered? At worst you would have to set up a new email account and inform all of your contacts of the new address. while this would take time there is still no financial loss suffered. If you are thinking you would be paid a lump sum because you lost your password no insurer in the world would agree to that, since whether the password is lost or not is totally up to the policyholder. Therefore this would leave this type of policy heavily susceptible to fraud.

I found some things in my house that doesn't belong to me when I came home from the hospital. He knew for sure I wasn't going to be home under those circumstances. I didn't tell him. He is very secretive about his email and the other day he checked it from my computer and I realized he has other accounts. I want to be sure he hasn't made plans behind my back and find out after the fact. I can't change him, but I can prepare ahead if I know what's going on. Asking him about it is out of the question.
