I have just split up from my boyfriend how can i find out his passwords for email 2 c wot hes been up 2?

my ex boyfriend has always been very cagey when hes been on the internet when we were together like pretending that he didnt know that half his hard drive had been hidden and had alsorts of email addresses and encrypted files on it.is there anyway i can get into his email and encrypted files.i also have his old computer it looks like hes wiped everything but is there a way i can recover anything?

Yeah, i'd like to know, too. I think you could take the computer to a computer store that services computers. They can extract data, and then you could read it. Don't know where, but there are services that will crack passwords. Also, you can get on Google for software that will crack passwords. The software will try zillions of passwords in a short amount of time and find the right one.

Strong encryption algorithms like one used in winrar and winzip (both least complex of strong algorithms) use long bit length 128 or 256 to encrypt and u may spend ur computer to work on continuously for years to retrive a password if he is good at using complex passwords. This is same as in case of yahoo and other mail accounts today. Also u may get caught for cyber crime if u continuously try to crack yahoo or other web passwords with some tools.
