What happens if you can't remember your password to your email address, does it just delete itself?

this is for my aol account.


i haven't logged into it in months, and i can't remember my password.


so does my account just delete itself within a few months.


i want to get into my account, but i can't-

Well for yahoo it does, I'm not sure about AOL.





but you can click on log in trouble whatever its call, and have them send a new password to your email

Hotmail will keep the account for 1 year, and if no one ever signs in then it deletes itself.
