How do I password protect a single email message I wish to send in Outlook ?

I would like to password protect a confidential email I need to send to a colleague without anyone else being able to view it. I am using Outlook. I have searched Outlook help but could only find info on password protecting entire personal files. In my case I just want to password protect individual messages. Thanks

How do I password protect a single email message I wish to send in Outlook ?
Here is a pretty smart tool for password protect/encrypt/lock/hide folders/files, take a look and free try it by urself: http://www.dicale.com/

It allows you to hide files in password protected folders which is known as vaults, keeping them from hackers or malicious intruders. After creating a vault by a few clicks, you just drag and drop the desired files and folders to it, keeping them invisible for any time you want.

Here is a step by step guide: http://www.dicale.com/guide.html
Reply:I don't think you can do it.

You could write the message on notepad, zip or rar %26amp; password it. Then mail it as an attachment.
Reply:if you are sending any attachment with your email then you can use Folder Lock, you simply have to password protect your documents, attach the Locker to email and tell the password to the person whom you are sending the mail. It will be better to tell the password through any other communication mean, by phone or any other way.I use to send my important files through emails using the same process, you can try it too if you like, I downloaded the program from here,
