The problem I had windows remember it so I never needed to enter it on outlook express. Now my PC has gone down so how do I get my email address book etc with a new PC. If I put the old PC hard drive into a friends computer I can read all the folders so should be able to find the stored password somehow if I knew how

Phone 151 if you have a phone account with them. They will ask you to verify who you are, then hold your hand while they talk you thru the recovery process.
